Thanasis Greek Restaurant

Kindly staff. I was there 2 times. First time in winter .and menu had reasonable price ,another time i was in summer but menu had high price. The atmosphere of restaurant is nice and friendly .u can serve wine beside your meal. Usually most customer are over 45 years old. They serve rice beside meals and they food has alot of oil. I ordered shirmp. It was soft and good. Staff are so nice and friendly . Overall its good restaurant but about pices is higher than avrage of windsor.

As a child when we would drive my this restaurant I really wanted to eat here. I finally had the chance to with my uncle and aunt the other night. I ordered the Moussaka which I've had before in Vancouver on Commercial drive recently and loved. I was really disappointed with the taste of this dish here. The meat I was told is beef but it tasted more closer to Venison or Goat and not beef. The topping also tasted more of a whipped egg mixture. I was disappointed with my meal.

I come in all the time for the pastitio and app trios. I love the new keftedes!! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is like that of an oasis. 10/10 My favourite place to eat.

Food was good, I won't say it was the best for Greek food.m. I liked there salad and Baklava. Didn't really like the rice and beans. Place has a nice ambience and staff was good.

Delicious food and great service. Server made a point to get to know us and was so very pleasant. Portions were large-salmon leftovers brought home for lunch the next day!

The food at this restaurant was amazing. This was our first time to Canada for my fiance's birthday. The waitress Jaslene was attentive to our needs and the cook made the food to perfection. Thanks for everything we will be back.

We were a large party ordering many items. Loved the Greek sausage and quail. Some items were so so like the rice and gryro. Will be going back.

Saginaki, and the best Salmon in the world! Tonight was an awesome dinner at Thanasi's! Our server was awesome, the ambiance was amazing. The wine was delicious, and of course the food was the best! You can never go wrong at Thanasi's. Bring your appetite!

Went here for the first time the other day - for lunch. Great options. Everything was delicious. I got the Kalamari appetizer and The Perfect Lunch (Chicken shiskabob). It was served with rice, potatoes and green beans. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back.

My family and I love this place. Place is a bit dimly lit but I guess that is just part of their vibes. Friendly staff and great food. Primarily, I go there for their awesome flaming cheese! I get an order or two just for myself! If I had to recommend something from their menu that would you be the least! Very warm and homey vibes here.
